HEIGHT OF THE ROCKIES
GOAT HUNT

The Height of the Rockies Adventure CO. (2014) LTD is allocated Goat tags from the government to use for our clients. Most goat hunting occurs deep into the mountainous Height of the Rockies Park.

The goat populations is strong with numerous Billy’s in the 9-inch range.

The Season is from September 10 to November 30th. Hides are better from October 10th but weather tends to be better in September.

Hunting will be done by horseback, spotting and climbing. Please do not book this hunt unless you are fit and can hike up.

ACCOMODATIONS

• Main lodge, size 3000 sq foot , five bedrooms, two bathrooms. Solar powered with back-up generator. Road access.

• Two back country cabins, Each cabin sleeps maximum of six.  Access by horseback.

• Tent camps on occasion, access by horseback.

A combination hunt with elk or moose can be arranged. Contact for information and prices.

Tags and Licenses are extra plus a 5% GST tax

Note: You need to be in good shape to hunt goats in the Rocky Mountains. Big goats are there for the taking but there is some climbing involved.
